Having first learnt about foraging as a child in East Cork, Ireland, Dr Ryan has a wealth of knowledge and experience and will guide you through how to spot poisonous fungi, the safest approaches to identifying edible mushrooms, where and when to find them, how to responsibly pick, clean, prepare/cook and store them and how to grow your knowledge (2 species a year ‘rule’).
